NEMIX Individual Registration Form

This page is to register for The New England Music Improv Experience will take place from July 5 - 8, 2018.

Are you a fierce musical improviser who isn't afraid to fly solo? Great! NEMIX is for you. Soloist registration opens up March 9, 2018. Once the spots are filled, that’s it. We’re all about ensuring plenty of individual attention and a small, communal feel for the whole journey. Every soloist will rotate through a few of the stellar workshops on Friday. On Saturday, we’ll introduce you to your totally rad performance ensemble of other soloists. Each team is assembled with love and care to bring out the best in all performers. One of the best singprov directors on the planet will spend the whole day guiding you through a challenging and blissfully rewarding musical form that you’ll perform that same night. Along the way, you’ll have other great performance opportunities in jams, mixers, cabarets and such. Come a Soloist, leave a NEMIX family member.

You’ve completed a full traditional improv training program at a recognized theater (ImprovBoston, iO, Second City, The Magnet, etc). You have taken workshops in or have frequently performed music improv. If you’re newer to improv and/or haven’t done much comedic musical improvisation, please come back in a future year. It’s not that we don’t love you or think you’d get something out of NEMIX, it’s that we need a level of acumen and shared vocabulary to make the experience successful for all our improvisers.
